Sunday 26th June, wind 190/15G25. Wave lasted until early afternoon. Our SF25C was on site but not flyable, awaiting a maintenance check, so we flew the TB9. 80kt, 2000 rpm, holding height and even climbing slightly. Socata should have gone for a higher aspect ratio! Orientation of wave bars roughly Callan to Thurles. Gradually destroyed by convection.
